Oh, I'm in a mood.

Oh, where to start, where to start.

Do I share with you my rousing rendition of "The 12 Things I Hate about Chiarelli," sung to the melodious tune of "The 12 Days of Christmas"? Do I rant and rant and threaten and rant some more about how Chiarelli traded Nate DiCasmirro, and then had the ...stones (to put it delicately) to assign Manny Fernandez to Providence, where he is going to sully up my pristine, pretty ice (He's going to need more than divine intervention from the heavens above if he mucks around with my pBs' standings and record. In fact, I am pretty sure that if he futzes with those, there isn't a deity in a single religion out there that will be able to save him from the wrath of a red-headed Irish-Italian. Because oh yes; I have the temper of a fiery redhead AND the temper of an Italian. Never should the twain meet in nature; it's capital-b Bad capital-n News.), and where I am going to have to look at him. I don't want to be reminded of one of the transactions from this summer that I am most bitter about!

Ahem.

Hi, internets! How was YOUR day today?

Oh mine? It was going dandy until I got an e-mail around noon telling me that hi, Boston traded DiCaz to Phoenix/San Antonio for Alex Auld, because Boston has a goaltender issue - namely, they can't seem to keep one healthy.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to care, because I can't seem to see past Providence's success (and their IR). You want Rask? Fine; keep him. I have no use for him in Providence anyways. However, I -- and the team -- had a use for DiCaz. By trading HIM away, Chiarelli, you ripped away one of Providence's most dynamic team leaders.

That's cool, though, I can see why you'd want to do that, because someone who plays hard every shift, leads both by example and by words, and comes pretty damn close to epitomizing what a Bruin should be... I can see why you'd want to get that off our team. It's gross, having someone like that on our team. In fact, I wonder why you didn't get rid of him sooner! Thank god you were able to dupe Phoenix into trading a goaltender who is not even at .500 with a so-so GAA and save percentage for that pesky, stinky DiCaz and a 5th-round pick. You got off light! They could have made you PAY them to take him! Phew; I'm glad that we didn't have to deal with that, because that would have been AWFULLY EMBARRASSING.

You know, just like it will be AWFULLY EMBARRASSING for YOU when you have to walk around for the rest of your natural-born life with one of my shoes sticking out of your rear from that time I kicked you so hard that it got wedged in there. How it will manage to fit there with your head will truly defy physics, but hey; at least you'll make a record book somewhere.
