Photo Friday XVII: Excuses.

Photo Friday VII: Excuses.

So, I have been absent lately. I know this. I am tired, internets. I wish it was because I was rocking all night and partying all day, just like KISS, but I am not. The truth, she is banal and no fun, we will skip over her and I will just hand in my excuse notes and we'll all call it good, mmmkay?

To Whom It May Concern:

Please accept this note as proof of a valid reason for Heather's absence from the preseason games last week, against Springfield at URI, and against Worcester in Marlboro, Massachusetts. She and some friends took a field trip to New Jersey to take a meeting with some Hollywood types. She can't help that she's branching out from athletes and rock stars and rolling with new VIPS, such as the president of a prestigious fashion brand and various filmmakers/writers. Sometimes, you have to choose which awesome moment to seize, and she chose against hockey.

RE: All apologies

To the pBs:

Please accept my humblest apologies on skipping out on your preseason games. I understand that by not being there, I let you down. I also understand that as the preseason is a sneak-preview of how the season will go, this does not necessarily bode well for my perfect attendance award.

But you know what? It was totally worth it, and I bet you would have done the same thing.

Providence won over Springfield (Mike Brown in net), was shut out by Bridgeport (Jordan Sigalet in net), and lost in a shoot-out to Worcester (Rask in net).

Without further ado or excuses, this week's Photo Friday: Manny Fernandez, Boston's newest saving grace. He'd (and the rest of the team; duh) better BRING IT against Dallas tonight; that's all I'm going to say.

Oh, Manny.
