Photo Friday XVI: Oh, like you didn't see this one coming from a mile away.

First things first: Rask and Lashoff have been sent to Providence. Mike Brown earned the win (4-3) against Springfield in Providence's pre-season opener. Nothing against Mike, but I was shocked to learn that it wasn't Tuukka in net. I've been steeling myself all summer for the inevitable 95/5 split for the goalie tandem in Providence, and this threw me for a loop. Messing with my head already, Gordon? Isn't the season kind of too young for that?

Moving on: This week's Photo Friday is the first-ever repeat of a player, and it is where you learn that sometimes, I am just not that creative. Or ambitious. And that I can be very, very lazy. And that I am currently very, very distracted by House, MD on DVD. Internets, I know you've already met Jordan Sigalet, so I won't bother re-introducing you. I'll just tell you that hot damn, I love this picture. This and the Peter Schaefer picture from last week are my two favorite pictures from camp this year.

I'm so glad hockey's back.
