Providence 7, Springfield 1.

Dear Internets.

Yesterday, the pBruins won, beating Springfield 7-1. Brian Eklund got his first win as a Bruin (check that off the wishlist, woo!), Jonathan Sigalet scored two goals in the game (I was hoping for a hattrick because I'm greedy like that) and was therefore the number 1 star of the game, and rookie Bryan Schmidt got his first pro point ever (an assist). It was a great Saturday, AND the pBruins kicked some butt. It was all well worth all the exhaustion I feel now.

I know there are things going on. I know Tim signed with Boston for three more years. I know that Braddy Boyes got his first pro hattrick EVER yesterday afternoon, and I know we kicked Carolina's tail. I know Lowell lost to Manchester yesterday, and because we won, the point spread between us and them is larger. We're catching up to Manchester in the standings. Yesterday, Hartford clinched a playoff spot. (I love the playoffs) News is happening all around, and yet, I have told you none of it. I feel like such a slacker.

Pictures (a couple from Thursday, a few from Friday, a bunch from last night) will be up maybe tomorrow. Or later in the week, after I've slept for eleventy hundred hours. We'll see.

XOXO,
Heather
