Remembering.

One year ago yesterday, I bumped into the governor of NH as he held the door open for us and laughed that we were bummed that we'd missed breakfast hour at Friendly's by 20 minutes. Reco'nize.

One year ago yesterday, I sat at Friendly's with a photo roster of All-Stars, perusing the menu. Oh, and ordering lunch.

One year ago yesterday, I pissed off Andy Hilbert by asking him why Patrice was MIA for the skills competition instead of congratulating him on his 4-in-4 shooting accuracy accomplishment. Whoops.

One year ago yesterday, I hung out with All-Stars, rubbing elbows with some of the NHL's biggest names this season. I like to think that they are successful this year because they hung with me.

One year ago yesterday, I chided the AHL Vice President for not knowing who any of his players were and told him if he wasn't careful, I'd take his job. Yes, I was sober.

One year ago tonight, I was at the 2005 AHL All-Star game in Manchester.

One year ago tonight, I only took ten rolls of film sitting behind the Canadian bench because I ran out of film.

One year ago tonight, a bull gave me a rose because he knew I was pissed at him.

One year ago tonight, the Canadians lost the All-star game for the first time in five years. I might have had something to do with that.

One year ago tonight, I was bought dinner by the Canadiens and almost ended up on a plane to Toronto.

A lot has happened in the year since.

Because you rock!

Because you are cool and amazing.

I think 8 out of those 10 rolls were for a certain canadian. And that was not a complaint, it was a job well done! Because lord knows, I enjoyed looking at them. Still do!
