A letter, to you.

Dear Internets.

This whole "training camp" thing is finally getting to my head. I am way more over stimulated then I should be about camp finally (FINALLY!) commencing. I have flat-out hit The Crazy. (It's a lovable kind of crazy, though.) (And did I mention I'm sucking others into the Crazy vortex? Oh yes, I am. Sherry and Kassie and possibly a girl named Amee. Fun for all!)

Speaking of The Crazy, did y'all hear that we offered Raycroft a one-year deal for $1.2million dollars and he turned it down? I think that Raycroft might be more affected by The Crazy then Jenni or I are, now that I think about it. (Note: I am no longer sure where I heard the $1.2m figure. I think now, upon looking online for an official link, that I may be making it up. Either way, Raycroft is affected by The Crazy for believing that he should be getting a contract this year at DiPietro money.) (Note part deux: I do not feel he's quite yet worth $2.5m for one year (but certainly worth more then his $450k qualifier), and I am not going to argue this point. I am tired of the whole Boynton/Raycroft topic. I just want both of them signed already, goddamit.)

But! Back to the CampTalk! Because I? LOVE the CampTalk! Camp is delicious and nutritious, fortified with all kinds of vitamins and minerals, and YES, I like me some cereal, so shush. I have some pictures up from Saturday and Sunday. Y'all, I am in LOVE with this camera. If girls could marry digital cameras, if it was legal in the Commonwealth, I would do it. I would get on one knee and propose to this camera and then we would happily ever after because- LOVE! Overall, I think I took something like 275 pictures, and it cost me ZERO DOLLARS to look at them. And! I could delete the crappy ones (autofocus is not my friend. Autofocus is the one trait about this camera that I wish I could make go away, but until I familiarize myself with the focussing - it's opposite my Nikon - autofocus is that devil I have to play nice with for the good of all mankind. Or at least the good of pictures). Why I did not go digital sooner, I do not know. Dumb me!

Jaci went to camp today at the TDBNG. Today was the first day of FULL camp, with the veterans reporting and such. She took a couple of pictures. It just about KILLED me to have to go to work and not go to Boston today. I just want y'all to know that. Tomorrow and Wednesday do not look to be any better. I predict that my colleagues will lock me in a closet, simply because I was a bundle of nervous energy today, and that's only going to get worse the closer I get to Thursday.

GOOD GOD IS IT THURSDAY I NEED MORE CAMP.

XOXO,
Heather

PS. Jayme Filipowicz signed over in ... Germany? I think? with the Augsburger Panthers.

I was just looking through the galleries and I saw the name "Wacey Rabbit." This may sound kind of mean, but I started laughing. I was caught a little offguard :)

Where is camp on Friday? My computer is lame and I can't open .pdf files.

I might have to take that day off for a "doctor's appointment" heh.
